Our very own Salty Pirate has come a long way since his days of slinging a carpenter's tool belt for nearly 20 years! First earning his degree in broadcast media and starting his next life gig as a radio DJ, audio editor and producer. First earning his degree in broadcast media and starting his next life gig as a radio DJ, audio editor and producer. Through every chapter, he has always taken great pride in cooking for his family and then later larger groups of friends as word spread about his BBQ. As he honed his craft, his love for smoking food has become more than a passion project. It's become the reason he wakes up before dawn every morning to fire up his pits and craft his menu for the day.
